Last week, the Ravens lost to the Cincinnati Bengals, 15-10. Joe Flacco played one of the worst games of his career, throwing four interceptions, and probably throwing the entire game away. The Bengals opened the game with two second quarter field goals from Mike Nugent, hitting from 36 and 30 yards. Flacco struggled mightily throughout the half, not completing one pass in the first quarter. He rebounded quickly in the third, striking Derrick Mason for a 31-yard touchdown to put the Ravens on top. The Bengals took a 9-7 lead at the end of the third quarter on a 46-yard Nugent field goal. The Ravens took the lead back on Billy Cundiff's 38-yard field goal. The Bengals quickly responded with a field goal of their own. On the Ravens next drive, Flacco's pass was tipped and intercepted, which ultimately resulted in another Bengals field goal. The Ravens couldn't score on their next drive, and the Bengals won.

Next Sunday the Ravens play their season opener against the 0-2 Cleveland Browns. Browns QB Jake Delhomme was injured in last week's loss to the Buccaneers, so Seneca Wallace will start next week. The Browns offense is nothing to get to worried about, and I'm sure that the Ravens defense can easily stop them. This defense has not let up a touchdown to two decent offenses on the road, and they shouldn't this week at home against the Browns. The Browns defense is pretty weak overall, but has some strong points too. If the Ravens offense can get by players like Shaun Rogers and Eric Wright, they will have no trouble scoring points. The Ravens should win this game with ease, but they can't make the same mistakes they've made these past two weeks. Joe Flacco and Ray Rice must step their game up for these next games. I have the Ravens winning, 24-6.
